Well, the experts say that fans of Mexico's World Cup Team tend to put their support behind Argentina for the World Cup Final this Sunday. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Friday, the El Paso Zoo's Mexican Burro, Cisco, will hedge his bets in this year's World Cup. As a soccer enthusiast, Cisco will cast his vote by selecting the team's soccer ball set out for him in his exhibit by keepers (not to be confused with goal keepers).

Who will Cisco choose? Germany or Argentina?

The fun, family-friendly activity will serve as one of his enrichment activities for the day. Animal enrichment is provided to animals to provide mental and physical stimulation in their daily lives. Cisco enjoys kicking around soccer balls and this will be a fun and unique experience that Zoo visitors will also love!

“This is Cisco’s first time predicting the winner of a game, but we think it will be fun since he loves playing soccer,” said Kenny Riley, Senior Keeper. “Visitors don’t always get to watch him play because he’s shy but we’re hoping his enthusiasm for soccer will help him overcome his bashfulness.”

Cisco the Mexican Burro's World Cup prediction will begin Friday, July 11, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in the Mexican Burro Exhibit in the Americas section of the El Paso Zoo, located at 4001 E. Paisano Dr.
