Sunday, September 12:  NMSU Head Coach DeWayne Walker and the Aggies lost to San Diego State, 41-21 late Saturday night at Aggie Memorial Stadium.  Ryan Lindley threw for over 300 yards against the NMSU defense, and the Aggies offense had their bright spots but ultimately could not come back.

"You know, it seems like we didn't play well as a team tonight. When the defense was playing good, the offense was struggling. When the offense was playing, the defense was struggling and I think our special teams hurt us the whole night. I feel we need to just play more consistent as a team", said Walker.  Starting QB Matt Christian added, "You've got to have eleven guys working together as a unit to be successful. I mean, you can see, when we put it all together we have something. But again, the consistency is just not there yet."

7:00PM Saturday, the I-10 rivalry when NMSU meets UTEP at the Sun Bowl.
