Thursday, April 1:  UTEP Senior Running Back Donald Buckram rushed for 1, 569 yards and 18 touchdowns last season, helping the Miners win several games in the final seconds.  Buckram enters his senior season as the go-to guy on offense, but finds it will be difficult early on with several new starters on the offensive side of the ball. "Yeah, I mean it's just getting used to everybody again. It's going to be the same offense, same plays, but different people in front of you. Just got to run and get used to the guys in front of you now", said Donald Buckram.  The UTEP Miners will be without the services of Senior Quarterback Trevor Vittatoe for six practices due to a violation of team rules.  The Miners will scrimmage on Friday, and culminate Spring Practice with the Spring Game at the Sun Bowl at 6:00pm on Saturday, April 24.
