UTEP tennis head coach Mark Roberts announced the addition of Davina Meza and Daphne Visscher to the program on Thursday.

“I am extremely excited to have Davina and Daphne join our team this fall,” Roberts said. “They both bring a high level of tournament experience to our program and I am expecting great things out of them.”

Meza brings collegiate experience to the Sun City, as she is a transfer from Cal St Stanislaus. She compiled a 27-10 overall singles record and an 18-17 overall doubles record in her two seasons with the Warriors. She will have two years of eligibility with the Miners.

Visscher will begin her career as a true freshman in the Orange and Blue. The native of the Netherlands competed in numerous tournaments including the Beekhuizen/Velp Junior Tour (2009), the ITF Leeuwenbergh Open and ITF Indoor McDonald’s Flevoland Junior Championships (2010), and the ITF Almere Autumn Indoor (2011).
