Thornton talks about becoming UTEP's all-time leading rebounder

UTEP senior forward and Irvin High School graduate Kayla Thornton became the Miners all-time leading rebounder Wednesday with seven rebounds in a win over UAB... the days allotment gave Thornton 815 for her career to surpass former Miner great Kim Watts’ prior standard (810, 1978-81) for most in school history.

Thornton also owns the program record for career double-doubles (28) while ranking second all time in scoring (1,284).  Tune in to listen to Kayla Thornton talk about being in the record books!
