First Light Federal Credit Union to sponsor 'Battle of I-10'
El Paso, TX — UTEP Athletics and FirstLight Federal Credit Union have joined forces for this year’s rivalry series between the Miners and the NM State Aggies. FirstLight Federal Credit Union is the official sponsor for the “Battle of I-10” and will have its name attached to every sport pitting the two teams together in 2014-15.
It all starts with the UTEP-NMSU soccer game on Aug. 27 at University Field. Three and a half weeks later, the Miners and the Aggies will battle on the gridiron for the 92nd time.
This year’s UTEP-NMSU football game will be a “White Out” and all fans are encouraged to wear white to the game. Fans can receive their FREE White Out or Battle of I-10 t-shirt by opening a checking account at any FirstLight Federal Credit Union location in El Paso, starting Aug. 22nd.
