Dallas Cowboys sign former Miner
Oxnard, CA (KTSM) — A former Miner is trading in his Orange and Blue for White and Blue. The Dallas Cowboys signed 2012 UTEP grad James Nelson Thursday.
The rookie offensive tackle could see significant minutes Sunday when Dallas plays Miami in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, OH.
The Cowboys have six offensive linemen hurt and had a shortage of natural guards available for the Sunday preseason opener.
Details of the contract were not immediately available.
