Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, UTEP and Tulane earn double-byes

Middle Tennessee captured the Conference USA regular season title and the No. 1 seed at the 2014 Conference USA Women's Basketball Championship, March 11-15 at Memorial Gym and the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. The 22nd-ranked Blue Raiders finished their first year in the league with an impressive 15-1 conference record and an overall mark of 26-4, winning a conference title for the second straight season and the fourth time in five seasons. The top four seeds receive a double-bye into the quarterfinals of the 16-team tournament.

The opening three rounds will be played inside legendary Memorial Gym before moving across the street to the Don Haskins Center for the semifinals and championship game. Both venues are located on UTEP’s campus. First, second and quarterfinal round games on Tuesday, March 11, Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13 will air on the C-USA Digital Network. The Friday semifinal games will be shown on CBS Sports Network at 9 and 11:30 a.m. (MDT). CBS Sports Network will also broadcast the championship game on Saturday at 6 p.m. (MDT).
