UTEP’s Risper Kimaiyo and Suji Adeniyan have been selected to the 2011 Conference USA Track and Field All-Academic teams voted by the league’s sports information directors.

“This is a great honor for Risper (Kimaiyo) and Suji (Adeniyan),” head coach Mika Laaksonen said. “They are very deserving of their nominations being model citizens on the team by always taking care of their business on and off the field. You can never have too many student-athletes like these two individuals. We are extremely proud of them.”

Kimaiyo is a two-time Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient majoring in nursing with a 3.68 cumulative GPA.
