UTEP To Open Up Road Swing At Tulane Sunday
UTEP will open up a stretch of three of four away from home when it takes on perennial power Tulane inside Fogelman Arena at 1 p.m. MST on Sunday. It will be a big challenge for the Miners (14-2, 3-0), with the Green Wave (12-4, 1-2 C-USA) standing a flawless 8-0 at home. The contest will be broadcast on 1150 AM in El Paso, and fans can also get live updates through Twitter (@UTEPWBB). UTEP defeated Tulsa, 67-56, on Jan. 12 while Tulane (12-4, 1-2 C-USA) were bounced at Rice, 67-49, last time out.
Vying For 4-0 Start To League Play
UTEP will be looking to post just the second 4-0 start to league play in program history. The 2007-08 squad got out of the gates fast and never looked back on the way to becoming the first women’s team in Conference USA

We Meet Again
Tulane leads the series against UTEP, 8-5, with each team successfully defending its homecourt last year. The first match-up between the programs came during the 1979-80 season. The two teams did not meet against until 2005-06, when the Miners joined Conference USA.
