San Diego, Calif- The UTEP softball team had a double header against two Top 25 teams today and went 1-1. The Miners beat the No. 22 ranked Fresno State Bulldogs 1-0, but later fell to the No. 5 team in the country, The UCLA Bruins, 6-0.
Stacie Townsead pitched a complete game one-hitter against the Bulldogs but was no a fortunate againts UCLA, trailing 5-0 by the end of the 3rd inning.
UTEP 15-6 will take on the No. 15 Texas Longhorns on Wednesday.
