In 2011, Nathan Jeffery was a freshman running back splitting time in the backfield with three seniors. Now as a sophomore, Jeffery is the leader of they unit and he attributes what he learned last season to his new role.

"It's a lot different because I used to look up to them and I used to follow them and now it seems that everyone is looking up to me. So it's a pretty big role that I'm playing. I think it's pretty good for me," said Jeffery.

Expectations will be high for the young tailback who was named to the Doak Walker Award watch list.
