The U.S. Men's National Team will continue its long rivalry against Mexico when the teams square off April 2 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Kickoff for USA-Mexico, presented by AT&T, is set for 8 p.m. Arizona Time (11 p.m. ET) and will be broadcast live on ESPN2, WatchESPN, UniMas and ESPN Deportes Radio. Fans can also follow the USA's final match before the start of World Cup training camp on Twitter @ussoccer.

"We are going to be watching our players very carefully before making final decisions on the roster for the World Cup, so this will be a great benchmark to see where they are at and how they compete against our biggest rivals," said U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann. "Games against Mexico are always special for the players and for the fans. We expect that it will be an amazing atmosphere in Phoenix with supporters for both teams, and it's great to have an opportunity to play before the start of the World Cup. You couldn't ask for a better experience to help with our preparations."

Tickets go on sale to the public Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. MT through ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Phoenix area (including Fry's Marketplace), as well as the University of Phoenix Stadium ticket office (open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). Groups of 30 or more can obtain an order form at ussoccer.com or call 312-528-1290. Ultimate Fan Tickets (special VIP packages that include a premium ticket, a custom-made official U.S. National Team jersey with name and number, VIP access to the field before and after the game, and other unique benefits) are also available exclusively through ussoccer.com.

As a sponsor of U.S. Soccer, Visa is pleased to offer all Visa cardholders access to an advance ticket sale for this match before the sale to the general public. This advance sale starts Monday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. MT and runs until Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 8 a.m. MT at ussoccer.com. The United States and Mexico meet for the first time since the USA's "Dos a Cero" victory on Sept. 10, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio, secured the team's advancement to the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The previous friendly between the regional rivals also proved historic when a Michael Orozco goal and a Tim Howard shutout delivered the MNT its first victory against Mexico on their own soil, a 1-0 win on Aug. 15, 2012, at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The University of Phoenix Stadium has been a fantastic venue for the National Team, having hosted two shutout victories. A crowd of 62,424 fans witnessed the U.S. collect a 2-0 win against Mexico on Feb. 7, 2007. Remarkably, it was the USA's eighth-consecutive clean sheet against El Tri on U.S. soil. Six years later, Graham Zusi earned his first cap and a goal from Ricardo Clark gave the U.S. a 1-0 win against Venezuela.

Since 2000, the USA has posted a 12-5-4 record against Mexico, including a 10-2-3 record at home during that span.

The U.S. Men's National Team will next travel to face Ukraine on March 5, marking the USA's first visit to the country for a match. Kickoff in Kharkiv is set for 2 p.m. ET, and the match will be broadcast on ESPN and Univision networks and on ESPN Deportes Radio. Fans can also follow the U.S. MNT on Twitter @ussoccer.
