U.S., Mexico await FIFA World Cup draw Friday

The U.S. and Mexican Men's National Teams will know its World Cup group following the 2014 FIFA World Cup Final Draw on Friday, Dec. 6 (ESPN2, WatchESPN, Univision and Univision Deportes).

During the 2014 FIFA World Cup Draw on Friday, U.S. MNT midfielder Michael Bradley and goalkeeper Tim Howard will take to Twitter to provide their commentary and expertise on the process as the USA's group is defined for Brazil. Bradley will take control of U.S. Soccer's account @ussoccer and Howard will tweet from ESPN's handle @espn. To follow, interact with and react toward this MNT play-by-play, use the #MB4 hashtag for Bradley and the #TimmyTakeover hashtag for Howard.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup Final Draw takes place at Costa do Sauipe in the Brazilian state of Bahia. The actual draw takes place at approximately 11:45 a.m. ET, but outlets will cover the event at various times. ESPN2 will air a live two-hour special beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET that features coverage from Brazil and in-studio analysis. WatchESPN will air the event starting at 11 a.m. ET. Univision and Univision Deportes Network will also feature coverage before and during the World Cup Draw, starting at 11 a.m. ET.

USA and Mexico are placed in Pot 3 for Final Draw: On Tuesday, FIFA announced the four pots for the FIFA World Cup Draw this Friday. Eight teams were seeded for Pot 1, and the USA and Mexico were placed in Pot 3 with fellow CONCACAF teams Costa Rica and Honduras, and Asian Football Confederation teams Australia, Iran, Japan and the Republic of Korea:

• Pot 1: Brazil, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, Uruguay and Switzerland
• Pot 2: Chile, Ecuador, Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria
• Pot 3: Australia, Iran, Japan, Republic of Korea, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico and USA
• Pot 4: Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Greece, England, Croatia, France, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Russia
