World Champ boxer Austin Trout was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of public intoxication, stemming from a fight at an El Paso Taco Cabana. The 27-year old Trout was one of four arrested. Newschannel 9's Beau Bagley spoke to Austin this evening, he says it is a Class B Misdemeanor, but he was not drunk, and Trout expects it to be dismissed. There was a fight, but Trout says he was not involved. Trout hopes to have a fight to unify the Light Middleweight title in early May against Canelo Alvarez.

Alvarez (41-0-1, 30 KO) notched wins over Shane Mosley and Josesito Lopez in 2012, but Trout (26-0, 14 KO) defeated Miguel Cotto on December 1.

Mike Trout really should get his act together. Acting more like BONDS than MANTLE.

What can you expect when you mix alcohol, being out so late and being with people that appoarently do not know how to control themselves. By Trouts account the jails and prisons must be full of innocent offenders. Let the justice system run its course and then hopefully we will all know what really happened and who is innocent and who is GUILTY.
