Sports

POSTED: Wednesday, May 12, 2010 - 5:13pm

UPDATED: Wednesday, May 12, 2010 - 6:40pm

Wednesday, May 12:  A Unique way for Tony Romo fans to see the Dallas Cowboys Quarterback.  Romo is one of 256 players registered for the opportunity to qualify for one of four sports to compete in next week's Byron Nelson Championship.  Romo fired an even-par in Tuesday's tournament in McKinney, Texas.  Romo advances to the next round of qualifying on Monday, which just happens to be the first day of the Cowboys O-T-A workouts.  So will Romo skip football practice for golf?  Tony Romo said, "No, if a tee time doesn't work out, then I can't play.  At the end of the day, I am a football player, and that's what I do.  Golf is fun, but it's not as important as football."
