Saturday, February 6: The Texas Team defeated the Nation team, 36-17 in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Texas vs. The Nation College Football Challenge at the Sun Bowl. The 4th annual contest saw UTEP's Cornelius Brown score the first touchdown ever in the game by a UTEP Miner, and he earned Game MVP honors for that. LSU's Trindon Holliday was named Offensive Game MVP.
