Former Burges High School Quarterback John Skelton, a fifth-round rookie from Fordham, will start his third game at quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals.

Arizona Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt told reporters that rookie quarterback John Skelton will make his third consecutive start on Christmas night against the Dallas Cowboys.

Skelton started the last two games after veteran Derek Anderson was lost because of a concussion. Whisenhunt said that even if Anderson is cleared to play, Skelton will start.

In his starts, Skelton has completed 32-of-70 passes for 342 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. He also lost a fumble in Sunday's loss at Carolina.
