Rotich Records Third-Fastest Time in the Nation Seattle, Wash. – Anthony Rotich clocked in the third-fastest time in the nation in the 5,000m at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash.

In what proved to be a close race to the finish line, the sophomore registered a time of 13:38.58 in the 5,000m and finished third overall. The All-American not only posted a top time nationally, but also recorded the second-fastest time in program history in the event.

Rotich is now ranked nationally in the top-five in three events: mile (3:57.76), 3,000m (7:59.40) and 5,000m.

The distance runner will be competing again tomorrow in the men’s 3,000m set to begin at 5:55 p.m. (MT).
