Romo Talks About the Cowboys Loss to Raiders
Friday, August 13: Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys offense sputtered Thursday night at home against the Oakland Raiders. Romo threw for ony 52 yards, but it was the innefficiency in the red-zone which really hurt the Cowboys. David Buehler kicked three field goals, and the Cowboys lost, 17-9, after a late throw by Matt Nichols was intercepted by Jerome Boyd and returned for a score. Quarterback Tony Romo said after the game, "Some of the execution was good, I got to get the ball out on another play that would have helped us, and we'll go back and look at the tape, we got to improve. It's a big cliche, but we need a rythym, with the understanding that you can't make a hold on a certain time, and we had good field position out there on one, or we can't take a sack down at the 20-yard line and get pushed back, things like that are very important."
The Cowboys will move training camp to Oxnard, California starting Saturday.
