Rodriguez Trains Hard for Bout with Cobb

El Paso's David "Niño" Rodriguez. will be training for his up incoming Heavyweight battle against Ty Cobb on Friday, February 11th at the Haskins Center.

The undefeated David Rodriguez (33-0, 31 ko's), will be preparing for his upcoming fight (Friday, February 11th, Don Haskins Center) against the brawler “Big” Ty Cobb. Also scheduled to fight on the card is “Machito” Hector Camacho Jr. currently in pursuit of World title contention, Camacho Jr. will be taking on the Mexican power puncher Juan “Monster” Astorga.

Rodriguez said he has been training hard with new trainer Herman Delgado.  "The sparring has been very hard, we have been going 5, 6 and 8 rounds. I have been rotating sparring partners, and we're going to pick it up again later this week."  Trainer Herman Delgado added, "It's been great, we have been training through the holidays. We started at the end of November, so we have been going through since then, so we're at the point where by next week, the following week, we're done."
