The Nolan Richardson Charity Golf Tournament is the fund raising arm for the Yvonne Richardson Memorial Foundation. We donate to charitable organizations in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. We also have several scholarships at UTEP. Some are the Bobby Joe Hill Endowment, Jim "Bad News" Barnes Scholarship, Mark Haskins Scholarship and we just implemented the Don Haskins Scholarship last year. We have approximately 10 scholarships.

Tim Floyd, Larry Johnson, Mike Anderson, Ricardo Patton and Ron Cottrell are a few of the celebrity participants.

The estimated donations are in excess of 1.5 million dollars. Irene Pistella of Price's Creameries is our Elaine Pharr Woman of the Year, Joe A.
