Super Bowl XLVIII will be a big game of firsts.

It'll be the first Super Bowl held in an open-air stadium in cold weather, and feature the first national anthem to be sung by an opera singer.

Reverence will transform into revelry by halftime, with performances from Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
