Friday night, UTEP and Houston will square off in a game that will surely see some offensive fireworks.  Last year, UTEP defeated 12th ranked Houston, 58-41 in the Sun Bowl, knocking Houston from their perch on top of Conference USA.  This season, Houston scored 68 points in an opening season victory over Texas State, while UTEP defeated Arkansas Pine Bluff 31-10.  Something has got to give, and the Quarterbacks of both teams are looking forward to the matchup.

"It's definitely one of the big name teams in our conference every year, and if we can come out with a win in this one, then it would be a really good start in the conference", said UTEP Quarterback Trevor Vittatoe.  Houston's Case Keenum added, "I think our games against UTEP and Houston have been pretty good the past couple of years, been back and forth, they have a good football team, they have had one every year, so I am expecting one this year."

8:15pm Friday night, UTEP at Houston televised on ESPN.
