Quarterback comes to UTEP
Jameill Showers was suppose to be Texas A&M's quarterback of the future, now it appears he'll be a Miner.
Showers is transfering to UTEP and will have two years eligibility. He is scheduled to graduate from Texas A&M this spring and be part of the Miners fall camp. Showers was highly recruited but the Aggies have Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel for three more seasons.
In limited playing time, the 6'2" Showers completed 63 per cent of his passses while rushing for 72 yards and three touchdowns.
