UTEP, heading into their Homecoming game against Rice, had to endure several tough injuries in the victory over New Mexico, including offensive lineman Tanner Cullumber, who could be out for the rest of the season.  Donald Buckram did not play against UNM, but Mike Price said today he was not sure if Buckram will go against Rice, but he is hopeful.

"So there are a lot of those things going on now halfway through the season that every team is being affected with. We do have good depth, however this year, so we'll just see how good it's going to be."
