Saturday football at the Sun Bowl is normally reserved for the UTEP Miners but this Saturday it was host to a trio of games between EPISD schools and all of them with playoff implications.

Greater El Paso Football showcase has scholarship deadline

Annually, the Greater El Paso Football Showcase awards several $1,000.00 scholarships from funds derived from the game. Deadline to apply for the 2014 scholarship is January 31, 2014.

Two area high schools to get new stadiums

The El Paso Independent School District announced that two area high schools will be getting new 6,000 capacity stadiums as part of a 2007 Bond Fund reallocation project.
