We've reached the final stretch of the high school football regular season. Only two weeks remain and a pair of games kicked off the action on Thursday.

Bulldawgs, Blazers earn Thursday night victories

The Americas Trailblazers improved to 3-0 in District 1-6A, 4-3 overall, after a 58-21 win over Socorro at the Student Activities Complex.  Socorro falls to 0-2 in District 1-6A, 2-4 overall.

Chidiac named Academy Player to Watch

This week's Academy Sports Right Stuff Player to Watch is Coronado high school offensive lineman Michael Chidiac. The 6-4, 285 pound lineman is helping pave the way for a dynamic rushing attack at cCoronado.

Trojans improve to 5-1 with 44-24 win vs Manzano

The Mayfield Trojans defeated Manzano, 44-24 at the Field of Dreams Saturday afternoon.  Mayfield is coming off a tough 1-point loss to Eldorado last weekend.  Mayfield will play Oñate Friday, October 10 at the Field of Dreams.

Thursday High School Football

There are a pair of Thursday games on the high school schedule this week.  Franklin plays Socorro at the SAC while Canutillo travels to the southside to play Jefferson at Bowie High School.
