Summer activities abound at Conchas Lake State Park
Conchas Dam, NM — Water levels are up and activities abound this summer at Conchas Lake State Park! Due to rainfall and good conditions, all boat ramps and campgrounds are open and operational. The Conchas North Dock Marina, store, restaurant and lounge are also fully open after renovations and upgrades.
“Conchas Lake State Park is a great summer destination,” said State Park Director Tommy Mutz. “We invite families to come and enjoy the lake, and we are excited to offer a variety of community and business-sponsored events.”
Summer events for 2014 kicked off with the “Anything that Floats Race,” on Memorial Day Weekend. The Parade of Boats event took place on the July 4th weekend, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary #19, State Parks and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
