Lebanese topless skier: Don't strip naked on slopes

Lebanese Olympic skier Jacky Chamoun is in trouble back home for posing topless for an Austrian sports calendar several years ago.

Beirut media have criticized the 22-year-old. The country's sports minister has called for the Lebanon Olympic Committee to investigate. Chamoun has apologized, recognizing that Lebanon is a conservative country.

Chamoun organized and funded her way to Sochi virtually alone, with no support from her country. Nick Paton Walsh interviewed Jacky Chamoun and asked her about the controversy.

Paton Walsh asked "What would you say to women who feel in Lebanon that there is too much conservative pressure on them and look to you to be some kind of symbol of hope to them? What would you say to them?"

Chamoun responded by saying "I would tell them just to be free but to not strip completely naked on slopes. I saw this movement and pages that are created for me. Lebanese are stripping and doing these funny pictures. This is so amusing and funny but I think at some point. It has to stop. It has to stop."
