NM State welcomes Denver for the final game at home this season on Saturday, March 2. The Aggies then make one final road trip to La Tech and UT Arlington next week before heading to Las Vegas, Nev., for the 2031 WAC tournament. The Aggies home finale is set to be televised on AggieVision and available on ESPN3.com, Comcast and tape delayed on Altitude.

Senior Honors: NM State honors the 2012-13 seniors in the home finale on Saturday, March 2. Playing a significant part in the season, Malia Magazzeni, Chrissy Fletcher, Camila Rosen, Stefanie Gilbreath and Kelsie Rozendaal will play their final game at the Pan American Center as an Aggie this weekend. Senior recognition is tentatively schedules for pre-game on March 2.

Tickets: Tickets are $6 for Adults and as always, kids 12 and under are FREE. A group rate of $4 is available. Call the NM State ticket office at 575-646-1420.

Over the Airwaves: The Aggie Sports Network is producing 15 games on KSNM AM 570 this season, along with any contests in the post season with Jay Sanderson giving the play-by-play. Each of the Aggies road games along with those home games not aired on AggieVision will be available through KSNM. All games aired on radio are produced by the Aggie Sports Network on KSNM AM 570 in Las Cruces. The broadcasts can also be heard from anywhere around the world on the Internet by logging onto www.NMStateSports.com. Just click on the live events link to access the coverage for a fee.

Aggies on TV: NM State continues to provide live coverage on AggieVision, ESPN3.com and your local cable and TV networks with the final broadcast on Saturday, March 2 against the Denver Pioneers. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. The game is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN3.com, Comcast Las Cruces, Comcast New Mexico and tape delayed on Altitude. Check AggieVision.TV for channel listings.

Looking Ahead: NM State wraps up the regular season with two games on the road before heading into the WAC tournament. The Aggies face La Tech on Thursday, March 7, in Ruston, La., before making the final trip of the season to UT Arlington on Saturday, March 9.

Looking Back: The Aggies continue on a three-game winning streak after an 87-81 win over future conference opponent CSU Bakersfield on Saturday, Feb. 23. The Aggies worked for a season high 50.8 shooting percentage in the 600th win in NM State program history. Once again, four Aggies had double digit shooting games with sophomore Danesia Williamson besting her career high with 27 points in the win. Senior Camila Rosen broke out with her career best 19 points and six steals with nine boards. NM State shot a stellar 55.6 percent from the field in the first half (15-27) and tallied 13 points off Roadrunner turnovers.


About Denver: With a WAC record of 7-8, including a win over the Aggies, Denver matches NM State’s 12-14 overall record this season. The team averages 66.6 points a game with Morgan Van Roper-Rose leading the way with 13.3. per contest. Maiya Michel is the defender to watch with 9.9 rebounds a game.

Series History versus the Pioneers: The NM State Aggies are 5-6 all-time against the Denver Pioneers. In the first meeting this season, Denver beat the Aggies 67-58.

About the Aggies: NM State continues on its three-game win streak after beating non-conference opponent CSU Bakersfield on Saturday, Feb. 23. The team is 12-14 on the season and 5-10 going into the week. The team is on top with a pair of WAC Player of the Week honors from Danesia Williamson and Camila Rosen in the last two weeks. NM State was on a nine-game losing skid before collecting tis two biggest wins over the season against SJSU and Utah State on Feb. 14 and 16, respectively. In the win over conference leader Utah State, NM State boasted a season-high 106 points.

Road to Vegas: NM State is on a three-game winning streak and sits eighth in the WAC going into the final two weeks of play. With a 5-10 WAC record, the Aggies have a .462 winning percentage on the season and .333 in league play.
