Monday, August 30:  The New Mexico State offense finished dead last in Division 1-A (BCS) in total offense, so Head Coach DeWayne Walker knew he needed to make a change.  Enter in Mike Dunbar, who has experience coaching offenses at Northwestern, Minnesota and Cal, where he formed a relationship with Walker, who was UCLA's defensive coordinator.  "We obviously competed against each other when I was at Cal and he was at UCLA, and of course if you coach long enough, you kind of build that relationship and you get to know people through competition. Obviously spending time here together in the spring has been a great experience, and I really like his vision for the program, and I'm excited to be a part of it."
