UNLV soccer sneaks past NMSU, 3-2

Senior Jennae Cambra scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season, however, it wasn’t enough as New Mexico State dropped a 3-2 decision to UNLV Sunday afternoon at the Soccer Athletic Complex.

Lobos stun Aggies, 38-35 at Aggie Memorial Stadium

The New Mexico State football team fell to 2-2 on the season after losing the Rio Grande Rivalry 38-35 to the New Mexico Lobos, now 1-2 on the season, Saturday, Sept. 20, at Aggie Memorial Stadium in Las Cruces, N.M.

The New Mexico State men’s tennis team concluded the second day of its home tournament, the Aggie Invitational, on Saturday at the NM State Tennis Center.

The New Mexico State volleyball team capped off the Holly Young Invitational by sweeping host New Hampshire, 25-18, 26-24, 25-11.

For the second-consecutive day the New Mexico State volleyball team swept its opponent during the Holly Young Invitational after defeating Brown Saturday morning in straight sets 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.

NMSU women win Kachina Classic in Las Cruces

The New Mexico State Aggies had a successful home meet at the Kachina Classic, Saturday, Sept. 20 with the women’s team coming in first and the men’s team finishing third against UTEP and El Paso Community College.

New Mexico outshot New Mexico State by a 32-11 margin and sprinted to a 4-1 victory Friday evening to secure the soccer portion of the Rio Grande Rivalry. UNM improves to 2-3-0 on the year, while NM State falls to 1-8-0.

NMSU volleyball defeats Rhode Island, 3-0

The New Mexico State volleyball team began play at the Holly Young Invitational on Friday afternoon by defeating the Rhode Island Rams in straight sets, 25-16, 25-21, 25-16, during the two teams’ first-ever meeting.

NMSU Cross Country to host Kachina Classic

The New Mexico State cross country team hosts the Kachina Classic on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the NM State Golf Course with both the men’s and women’s teams competing against UTEP and El Paso Community College.
