New Mexico State

NM State women's basketball gets back to the Pan American Center for three straight games as conference play winds down. First, the Aggies host Texas-Pan American on Feb. 20. The meeting concludes the two-game series with the Broncs and is the only game for that week for NM State. The Aggies will host Utah Valley and Bakersfield the following week to close out the home schedule.

Men’s Basketball
The New Mexico State men’s basketball team heads to Edinburg, Texas to face Texas-Pan American in a Western Athletic Conference road game, Thursday, Feb. 20 with tip-off set for 6 p.m. (MT). The game is scheduled to air over the radio waves in Las Cruces with ‘Voice of the Aggies’ Jack Nixon giving the play-by-play action on KGRT 103.9 FM. Softball
NM State now sets out on the road for 22 straight road games, beginning with the UTEP Invitational Feb. 21-13. NM State plays five games on the weekend starting with Incarnate Word at 10 a.m. and Houston Baptist at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21. On Saturday, the Aggies meet HBU at 10 a.m. and end the weekend with two more games versus Incarnate Word at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23.

Baseball
The New Mexico State baseball team will host Southern Illinois-Edwardsville this coming weekend in a four-game series at Presley Askew Field. The series starts on Friday night at 6:05 p.m., followed by a double header on Saturday beginning at 1:05 p.m. The second game of the double header is scheduled for approximately 5:05 p.m. The series finale is set for 1:05 p.m. on Sunday. The Aggies are currently 3-1 on the year. No radio is scheduled for this weekend.

Men’s Golf
The NM State men’s golf team will travel to Houston, Texas, February 21-23 for the Bayou Classic, hosted by Rice. The tournament will be held at the Par 72, 6,982 Yards Golf Club of Houston. Tee times for the event start at 8 a.m. (MT) Friday and Saturday, with a shot gun start on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. (MT). Live stats will be available at www.GolfStat.com.

Women’s Tennis
NM State will continue its home swing with two matches at the NM State Tennis Center next weekend. The Aggies will host Southern Mississippi on Friday, Feb. 21, and Abilene Christian on Sunday, Feb. 23. Southern Miss comes in at 2-5 overall, having lost to Southeastern Louisiana, Feb. 16, while the Abilene Wildcats (4-2) come to Las Cruces after double header against UTEP and Southern Mississippi on Feb. 21.

Men’s Tennis
The NM State tennis team will play Abilene Christian Feb. 22 and then Arizona the following day, Feb. 23. The Abilene Christian Wildcats are 4-5 on the season, coming into the match against the Aggies with a loss to Southern Methodists University Feb. 8, with a score of 0-7. The Arizona Wildcats (8-6) come to Las Cruces having lost to Nevada, Feb. 16, by a score of 5-2. The Abilene match starts at 11 a.m., while Arizona takes the court the following day at 12 p.m.

Women’s Golf
The New Mexico State women’s golf team kicks off its spring schedule with a trip to New Braunfels, Texas, to compete in the Jim West Classic hosted by Texas State. The two-day tournament begins Monday, Feb. 17, and concludes on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Bandit Golf Club. The tournament will consist of three 18-hole rounds. The first two rounds will be played on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Each day will start with a 7:15 a.m. (MT) shotgun start. The Aggies will be part of a 15-team field that will also include host Texas State and I-10 rival UTEP.
