This week in NMSU Athletics
Las Cruces, NM — The Aggies women's basketball team heads back to the Pan American Center to host Chicago State at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 before welcoming Kansas City on Saturday at 6 p.m. Thursday’s game will honor former Aggie great Madison Spence, while Saturday, NM State recognizes and welcomes back all former Aggies as part of Alumni Weekend.
Swimming & Diving
The New Mexico State women’s swimming and diving team returns to Western Athletic Conference dual-meet action on Saturday, Jan. 18, as the Idaho Vandals visit the NM State Natatorium. The meet is scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. start time and is free to the public.
Track & Field
The New Mexico State track and field team begins their 2014 indoor season when they travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for the Lobo Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 18. The Aggies look to take another step this season and improve on their third-place finish in the 2013 WAC Indoor Championships
The New Mexico State men’s basketball team hits the road this week for conference games against Chicago State on Jan. 16 and Kansas City on Jan. 18. Both games start at 6 p.m. (MT) and fans can listen to the game on KGRT 103.9 with NM State Hall of Famer ‘The Voice of the Aggies’ Jack Nixon, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Currently the Aggies are 3-0 in conference play and atop the league standings.
