NMSU earns 6th seed WAC baseball tournament set

The WAC's regular season concludes today and the seeds are now set for the upcoming WAC Baseball Tournament in Mesa, Ariz.

The tournament, which takes place at Cubs Park May 21-24/25 in Mesa, Arizona, will feature the league's top six teams from the regular season.

Sacramento State earned the tournament's top seed and will received a bye into the second day of competition. Texas-Pan American will be the No. 2 seed and will also receive a bye into the tournament's second day.

Utah Valley is the No. 3 seed, followed by Bakersfield (No. 4), Seattle U (No. 5) and New Mexico State (No. 6).

The tournament will begin on Wednesday, May 21 with No. 4 Bakersfield taking on No. 5 Seattle U at 3 p.m. (PT). No. 3 Utah Valley will play No. 6 New Mexico State in the nightcap Wednesday at 7 p.m.
