One might never believe this until they saw it, but it's all true... former New Mexico State golfer Vicki Garcia played in the Albuquerque women's city golf championship... 8 months pregnant!  The 2002 Carlsbad High graduate played competitive golf with the Aggies, and has always been in love with golf.  So she jumped at the chance to play in the championship when her doctor gave her the ok.

"I have been playing my whole life, just about, so I just wanted to keep playing, why not? Maybe this will induce the labor!"

It did not induce labor, and after finishing her final round Thursday, Vicki found herself 30 strokes back of the leader.  Vicki shot a 89-86-85... oh well, she'll have a baby girl any day now... her name will be Cora.
