Bhullar gets first taste of NBA
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — A very big man made a little bit of history Sunday. Former NMSU center Sim Bhullar became the first Indian-origin player to appear in an NBA Summer League game. The 7-foot-5 giant logged 3:30 minutes in the first half for Sacramento against Charlotte in Las Vegas. While he did not score any points, he collected a defensive rebound, blocked a shot, and collected a foul before returning to the Kings bench.
Sacramento's next game is Monday when they face the D-League Select at 2:30 MST.
