Aggies golf heads to Texas A&M Invitational
Las Cruces, NM — The New Mexico State men’s golf team will compete in the 2014 Aggie Invitational, April 5-6, at the par-72, 7,146-yard, Traditions Club Golf Course in Bryan, Texas. The tournament is hosted by Texas A&M and will be the final regular season tournament for the Aggies before the 2014 WAC Championships, May 2-4.
Sophomore Kenneth Fadke II, senior Willy Hogan, junior Pat Beyhan, junior Brett Walker and freshman Luis Medina will tee it up for the Aggies this weekend.
The tournament format will be 54 holes of stroke play, with 36 holes played on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. The Aggies will face teams from Arkansas, California, Kent State, LSU, Michigan, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Pacific, San Diego State, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
The Aggies last competed at the Thunderbird Invitational, finishing eighth overall as Beyhan led the Aggies with a three-round score of even par, finishing tied for 22nd.
