The New Mexico State softball team faces Midland College in a doubleheader, Saturday, Oct. 12 at the NM State Softball Complex. The first game is set for 11 a.m. Admission is free to all fans.

The Aggies began fall play a week ago against I-10 rival UTEP, sweeping the doubleheader 8-1 and 17-4. The Aggies came back last Sunday for a 9-0 win over Western New Mexico.

Midland College plays a hefty fall schedule that includes a doubleheader against the Miners on Friday, Oct. 11. The Lady Chaps were regional runner-ups in 2013 and finished last season with 30 team home runs and a team batting average of .341.

Game one is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, with game two slated for 1 p.m.
