George Navadel has signed a baseball scholarship to pitch at New Mexico Military Institute.  The Franklin senior is already well traveled so the location did not matter as much as the opportunity to continue playing baseball.

Congratulations! The best to you! You will do great at The Hill!

I went to NMMI in '89-'91! You have made a very good choice. If there is anything you need to get you started or any kind of support just let me know via the NMMI Alumni Association office at the school.

Adalinda Rivera, "91 JCG NMMI

Sirs, thank you very much to Ch 9 News for taking the time to come to Franklin HS and record my National Letter of Intent (NLI) signing to New Mexico Military Institute. This was an important day for me…one that I have been working towards for better part of the last seven years. Ever since I can remember, I have been told that the only difference between good and great is “effort”. I owe a debt of gratitude to my parents, my family, my coaches, and my friends for their tireless support.
