Tuesday, July 13:  The National League snapped a 7-game losing streak, a winless streak of 13 games, and a ton of demons in tonight's 3-1 MLB Al--Star Game victory.  Atlanta's Brian McCann hit a 3-run double in the 7th inning, coming back from a 1-0 deficit to take a 3-1 lead.  Several key plays in the 9th inning sealed the victory for the National League, their first since 1997 in the All-Star Game.  Marlon Byrd of the Cubs made a great throw to second base to get David Ortiz out, the 2nd out of the 9th.  The Dodgers Jonathan Broxton closed it out with a strikeout, then jubiliation as the National League will host the World Series.
