Mustangs stun Andress, while Chapin Girls prove too much for Rockets

The Burges Mustangs and Andress Eagles entered tonight's game both 5-0 in District 1-4A.  There could be only one... Burges got 15 points from Alvin Jones and 14 points from Aaron Jones in a 55-52 Burges victory.  The Mustangs improve to 6-0 in district, 12-6 overall.  Andress was led by Dalvyn Collins' 12 points, but Andress falls to 12-8.

In girls basketball, Chapin is the #6 team in the state of Texas, and defeated Irvin, 62-31.  Irvin entered the game 6-1 in district.  Chapin got 18 points from top recruit Kristina Higgins, improving to 24-0.
