UTEP Forward Malcolm Moore, a transfer from Tyler Junior College, played in the first seven games of last season before suffering a torn ACL in practice that ended his season. The NCAA granted Malcolm a medical hardship redshirt giving him two seasons of eligibility left with the MIners. He says he is 75% recovered with a few months left of rehab but expects to be at full strength by the start of the 2012 season.
