UPDATED: Monday, June 14, 2010 - 1:17pm

Saturday, June 12:  With a State Championship berth on the line, Montwood took care of business in the Hanks 7-on-7 Football Tournament, defeating Coronado, 40-26.  Montwood wins the Hanks Tournament Championship, automatically qualifying for the State Championships in College Station on July 9th.  Coronado had already qualified for the State Championships thanks to their victory in the Chapin Tournament, so the other berth went to the winner of the 3rd place game.  Franklin defeated Horizon, 48-20, to qualify for the State Championships.  Montwood and Franklin will join Coronado and Chapin at the 7-on-7 State Championships in College Station.
