National Signing Day

It's national signing day but don't expect any local announcments from either utep or new mexico state. Officials from both schools say there will be no press conferences Wednesday.

UTEP Coach Tim Floyd has been on the job for just two weeks and is trying to hold onto old recruits and gather some new faces as well. Floyd spent time in dallas this week and it is believed John Bohannon, a 6-10 center from Lancaster High School, who commited to UTEP while Tony Barbee was head coach,  will still be coming to El Paso.

His paperwork could be turned in by weeks end.

Bohanon has the ability to play center or power forward, he can post up or move outside for jumpers however he also weighs just 195 pounds and will need to add bulk.

At New Mexico State, The Aggies are expected to have three scholarships and possibly four. The program has lost scholarships in the past due the academic progress report.
