Marvin Menzies has made the final four.  It's just not the final four Aggie fans were expecting.

The New Mexico State basketball coach is amoung the final four candidates at Colorado State.

Menzies is being considered along with Larry Eustachy of Southern Mississippi,  Weber State coach Randy Rahe and St. Johns' assistant Mike Dunlap.

The Albuquerque Journal reports New Mexico State officials are ready to make a counter offer to Menzies in hopes of keeping him in Las Cruces.

Colorado St. is expected to announce its new coach by mid-week.
