Monday, August 16:  Former Texas Western Miner and New York Jets Receiver Don Maynard was inducted into the New York Jets Ring of Honor this evening at the New Meadowlands Stadium.  Maynard was inducted alongside his former Quarterback, Joe Namath, and other Jets including Running Back Curtis Martin.  The Jets took on the Giants in the first game in the new stadium.  Giants won it, 31-16.
