Mayfield High School is two quarters away from another state championship.  The Trojans lead Cleveland 28-14 at the half of their New Mexico 5-A State Championship game.

The first quarter ended in a 7-7 tie but the Trojans scored three thouchdowns in the second quarter to take a 14 point lead.
