The official announcement for Las Cruces' Austin "No Doubt" Trout against Mexican Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is expected at any time, that according to Trout's manager Bob Spagnola.

NewsChannel 9 spoke with Spagnola Wednesday and learned that Golden Boy Promotions, who represents Alvarez, has not yet offered Trout a contract though they said they expect to receive one at any minute.

The event would be a unification bout between the WBA light middleweight champ Trout (26-0, 14 KOs) and the WBC light middleweight champ Alvarez (41-0-1, 30 KOs) scheduled for the May 4th Mayweather/Guerrero card as a co-main event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas televised on Showtime.
